Congratulations to our Sophomore students! This week they took part in the ATLAS Interim II testing for ELA and writing. Over 25% of the students met their proficiency goals and showed growth. They enjoyed an afternoon of popcorn and a movie! Next week we will kick off with Geometry and Biology Interim testing, and we can't wait to see some more great things!

It is with great sadness that we share the news that one of our Bears passed away on Friday, January 31. Ca'myiah Simmons was a junior here at Sylvan Hills High. She passed away from complications with the flu last week. The family will hold a viewing on Friday, February 14 from 6-7pm at Mt Pisgah Church in Jacksonville. The services will take place on Saturday, February 15 at 11 a.m. also at Mt. Pisgah Church.
