Mills High has implemented an academic intervention where students have the opportunity to make up any missed or failing work that will allow them to obtain a passing grade for the semester. First, the student must contact the teacher of the class where a failing semester grade was received and ask for the work necessary to receive a passing grade. Second, the student must complete that work and turn it in to the teacher. This intervention is available to all students, grades nine through 12, with a focus on seniors trying to meet on-time graduation requirements. The final date for students to turn in this makeup work is Friday, January 29, 2021. The faculty and staff at Mills University Studies High School continue to strive to assist all students in achieving academic success.
