STUDENT EXPECTATIONS FOR AMI INSTRUCTION: We understand that many families may experience challenges in scheduling. The most important expectation is completing and submitting assignments as close as possible to when they are due. Teachers will offer digital face to face lessons with students 2-4 days per week. Students should make an effort to attend live instruction. Sessions will be recorded. The Maumelle Fire Department is turning to Facebook to show students and families some of their equipment this morning! Firefighters are broadcasting at 10 a.m. and will display their state-of-the-art firetrucks, gear, and the firehouse. Governor Hutchinson just announced that all schools K-12 in Arkansas will remain closed until April 17. We will update AMI plans, nutrition availability and more as soon as possible.

March is Women's History Month. Prior to Hillary Rodham Clinton's time as First Lady of the United States, Secretary of State and New York Senator, she co-founded Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families. Clinton was inducted into the Arkansas Women's Hall of Fame in 2015.

March is Women's History Month. Raye Jean Jordan Montague was the first person to design a ship using a computer system during the 1970s. She joined the U.S. Navy in 1956. Montague was born in Little Rock and was inducted into the Arkansas Women's Hall of Fame in 2018.
