On Friday, the Robinson Middle School Treble Singing Senator received Superior scores and a Division 1 rating at the Choral Performance Assessment.

On Saturday, more than a dozen female students stepped out of their comfort zone and sang for solo and ensemble competition.  Not only was this the first time for these girls to compete, this was the first time choir director, Karen Graham, had taken students to this competition. It was an amazing experience for all!

These students had the opportunity to sing for others and receive valuable feedback. The judge (voice and choir director at Philander Smith College) was so impressed with all the talented Senators. All of the RMS students who competed scored either a Division 1 or 2 ranking.
