Maumelle High School Varsity Cheer Team is hosting their annual mini cheer camp on Saturday, November 2nd from 9am-11:30am. Campers will learn cheers, dances, jumps and basics stunting techniques. They will perform at halftime of the November 7 Thursday night football game (Senior Night). The cost for the minicamp is $40, and it includes a T-shirt and snack. Pine Forest and CALS recently partnered to bring Fancy Nancy illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser to visit with Mrs. Chumley’s second grade class. During her visit, Mrs. Glasser talked about how she creates illustrations for children’s books and read aloud her newest book The Verts, written by author Ann Patchett. Each student also received a copy of the book to take home!
