Come out and support Maumelle High cheer and athletic teams with a family fun event on Saturday, November 5. There will be games, bouncy houses, food trucks and more. The fun starts at 3pm. Stick around for a movie night on the field for just $5. Bring your own snacks and chairs to watch the movie. See you Saturday!

Looking ahead this week, just a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL for students on Thursday (Nov. 3) and Friday (Nov. 4). Teachers will be attending professional development both days. PCSSD offices will be open normal business hours.

October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. Dyslexia and dysgraphia are often confused and often occur together. Dysgraphia mainly affects writing. Symptoms include difficulty with spelling, poor handwriting, and problems organizing thoughts on paper. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence

We will have a special Internet Safety presentation on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 in the library. Our guest speaker will be Raegan Sharp, a Public Affairs Programs Liaison with the Attorney General's Office. The monthly PTSO meeting will follow Ms. Sharp's presentation.
