Maumelle Middle School Community:
I am honored to join the staff, students, parents and community at Maumelle Middle School as an assistant principal. As I walked through the hallways with Mr. Echols recently, I began to envision the hallways filled with students and expectation. Expectation for students and staff to capitalize on opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve. We won’t waste this post pandemic opportunity to extend ourselves in the classrooms, the hallways, at sports arenas, etc.
My 18th year in education will focus on working synergistically to achieve the goals the Maumelle Middle School community sets, together. I embrace diversity in individuals, experiences, and opinions. Working together will provide us an opportunity to soar beyond our imagination.
Previously, I worked in the Little Rock School District and have children currently attending school there. As the mother of 3 teenage daughters and wife to Kipkeno, a UPSer, I know the benefits of having a shared mission/vision and working together. I can be spotted cheering on my daughters at their many sporting events. A perpetual learner and generalist, I read anything I can get my hands on and have a deep interest in learning new things.
My desire for students is that they become self-regulated and view education, the acquisition of knowledge, understanding, and experiences, as a personal responsibility to oneself and family; and use it to fuel their passion, as a passport to fulfill their aspirations, dreams, and personal goals.
I look forward to working with students, staff, parents and community at Maumelle Middle School. Please let me know how we can “team” together to maximize students’ growth/achievement, address socioemotional needs, and hone soft skills in preparation for their bright future.
Sincerely,
Angela M. Saine
Assistant Principal
