PCSSD will have an AMI day on Thursday, February 3 due to expected inclement weather and its anticipated impact on the roads. All schools & district offices will follow AMI procedures. PCSSD leadership will meet tomorrow to determine if an AMI day is necessary for Friday.

Maumelle High School Puzzle Club, sponsored by Brian Chambers and Chase Davis, celebrated National Puzzle Month by completing 15 puzzles in the month of January. The theme this month has been Great Literary Classics: A Celebration of Reading. Completed literary puzzles have been glued and hung up in the library. Puzzles that have been completed but not hung up will be donated to local nursing homes in the area!

If you're interested in cheering at Maumelle High School in the 2022-2023 school year, Maumelle High is holding an (virtual) interest meeting on January 31 at 7 p.m. or February 9 at 7 p.m. If your child plans to cheer, it is mandatory for a parent to attend either of these interest meetings.

Today we remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was a civil rights leader who participated in and led marches for blacks' right to vote, desegregation, labor rights, and other basic civil rights.
