For November, Chartwells Discovery Kitchen was all about highlighting the flavors of homemade foods. Students at HARRIS, DAISY BATES, LANDMARK & COLLEGE STATION ELEMENTARY schools sampled roasted butternut squash, inspiring them to try recipes at home. #pcssdproud #serveall

Every year, departments within the District collect gifts for some of our families in need. This year, PCSSD selected families from six schools to shop for from their lists. We're thankful for the chance to fulfill Christmas wishes for these students. #pcssdproud #serveall


Pre-K students at WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON enjoyed learning all about Kwanzaa and its 7 principles. Students then sharpened their fine motor skills by making a necklace or bracelet to go along with the lesson using the colors associated with Kwanzaa. #pcssdproud #serveall







15 educators from PCSSD attended the 2024 AVID National Conference in Dallas last week. These building and District leaders had the chance to learn from fellow educators and AVID staff through a variety of sessions. Dr. Justin Luttrell, Director of STEM and Blended Learning for PCSSD, joined The Strategic Data Project, an initiative of the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University.
