Effective July 1, 2021 PCSSD will not offer COVID-19 leave. If an employee is quarantined due to a positive COVID-19 result or identified as a close contact, he/she must use personal leave, vacation, sick leave or leave without pay during the quarantine period. Exposed employees can return to work on day 8 after exposure with written proof of a negative test and no symptoms.
As a reminder, the Arkansas Department Health (with guidance from CDC - https://5il.co/pucw) has stated that those who are fully vaccinated do not have to quarantine if they are identified as a probable close contact as long as they are not experiencing COVID-related symptoms.
