PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – PCSSD families can wrap up the first week of December with festive fun for all ages! Communities across the county will be lighting up the weekend with parades, markets and plenty of ho-ho-hot cocoa. Bundle up and enjoy plugging into the holiday season.
Sherwood Winter Fest
What: This year, Sherwood is hosting its first-ever Winter Fest. In addition to the city’s beloved parade, families can enjoy a Christmas market, gingerbread house decorating competition, hot cocoa station and more at the inaugural event.
When: December 7th, parade at 10:00 am
Where: Parade starts at Lantrip and Kiehl, ends at Oakbrooke and Kiehl, Sherwood, AR 72120.
Maumelle’s Holiday Parade
What: If the National Lampoon's Christmas parade theme is any indication, Maumelle families can expect over-the-top floats to help usher in the holiday season. Let’s just hope participants check all their twinkle lights before hitting the route.
When: December 7th, at 5:00 pm
Where: Parade starts at the corner of Audubon Dr and Millwood Cir. Ends at the corner of Club Manor and Audubon Dr, Maumelle, AR 72113.
The BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade
What: Little Rock’s annual parade ends on a bright note: the Arkansas State Capitol Lighting Ceremony. Santa will also be on hand for the young and young at heart.
When: December 7th, Parade starts at 4:00 pm, Tree Lighting starts at 5:30 pm
Where: The parade route will follow along the Arkansas River beginning at Broadway and West Markham streets and concluding in the River Market District near Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72201.
Ferndale Country Christmas Parade and Craft Show
What: If local gifts are on your wish list, Ferndale’s Craft Show is a nice place to start checking off items. A festive parade rounds out the fun.
When: December 7th, Craft show from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Parade at 1:00 pm

And if you can’t make it this weekend, Roland will be hosting its 3rd annual parade on December 14. Festivities kick off at 11 a.m. at 20900 Nowlin Street, Roland, AR 72135.
