LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – August, 26, 2024 – Rachel Blackwell was named a winner of PowerSchool’s Honor Roll Awards and their Champion of the Year, a program that celebrates and recognizes PowerSchool customers who have had an extraordinary influence on education and are committed to improving student achievement.

PowerSchool, the leading provider of cloud-based software for K-12 education in North America, announced the awards at their annual EDGE conference in Seattle, Washington in July where winners were celebrated during an awards banquet.

Leaders are nominated by peers in their school districts and then selected by a committee. Hundreds of nominations were submitted to this year’s Honor Roll for consideration in a range of categories including Excellence in Innovation, Impact Award, Technical Hero, Empowering Educator, Mentor of the Year, Champion of the Year.

Rachel has been recognized as Champion of the Year for her outstanding engagement and advocacy within the Champion Community and PCSSD. She has actively participated in events such as PowerUp sessions, Champion Council Meetings, and leading the Schoology user group, SUG-AR. Her involvement in webinars, collaborative conversations, and product roadmap series demonstrates her commitment to educational excellence and innovation, ensuring the success of PowerSchool solutions at PCSSD.
