My name is Yolanda Thomas. It has been my pleasure to serve as the Principal of Pine Forest Elementary for the past 14 years. I have a BSE, a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, and an Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum. In my spare time, I like to spend quality time with my family, travel, and work in my flower beds. My passion for the education profession was inspired by teachers who displayed a genuine concern for my well-being and educational experience, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to students and staff.

I am beginning my 22nd year with PCSSD where I have been a classroom teacher, an instructional coach and now starting my second year as an assistant principal. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Henderson State, a master's degree in Gifted and Talented Education from UALR and an Ed Specialist degree from ASU. My husband and I have been married for 11 years and have two children, Max and Tru. I am excited to join the Pine Forest Elementary team this year.
