It is my pleasure to continue to serve you as principal this year! This will be my 25th year in education. This is my 14th year in an administrative role. Before becoming a principal, I had many leadership experiences including instructional coach and assistant principal. Even with these amazing experiences, I will always be a teacher at heart. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, from the University at Little Rock, a Master’s in Gifted and Talented Education from the University of Little Rock, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Superintendency from the Arkansas State University.

I have been in administration for 18 years and taught for 17 years. I am a graduate of Henderson State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education and University of Arkansas at Little Rock where I received my Master of Education in Educational Administration. My husband and I have been married for 20 years. I have a daughter and grandson. I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, traveling and going to rock concerts.
Assistant Principal: Dr. Tamara Gatewood-Williams
I am excited to serve as the assistant principal again this year. This will be my 17th year in education and my third year in an administrative role. I also have 14 years of classroom experience. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, a Master’s in Adult Education, a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership, an Educational Specialist, and a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Reading Education.
